 It’s County Final Time:  This Saturday the 13th July is Monaghan GAA’s, Gerry’s Prepared Veg U13s county final’s day and congratulations to Corduff Gaels U13 team on reaching the Division 3 Cup Final when they will once again meet Killanny. It is a great achievement for the team and the management team of Paddy McEneaney, Sean Rafferty, Diarmuid O’Reilly and Raymond Courtney to reach the final and we wish them good luck. These young stars are the future of the club and we urge as many supporters as possible to attend the final which is at 11am in Blackhill. Let’s get the black and amber out!

Manor Farm U15 Division 4 Semifinal: This evening, Thursday 11th July Corduff play Latton at 7:20pm in Corduff . Good luck to all involved.

Corduff Gaels Lotto:

The weekly Lotto draw took place on Sunday in Traynor’s with a jackpot of €5,800. There was no winner of the jackpot and the numbers drawn were 1, 20, 26 and 27. Congratulations to the 5 Lucky Dip winners Mary McPhillips, Majella Daly, Gerry Keenan, Shauna Shannon and Tom McEnaney. This week’s draw takes place in Boylan’s on Sunday 14th  July with a jackpot of €5,900. The Lotto will be on sale in usual outlets so your continued support would be appreciated.

Monaghan Electrical Intermediate League ;

Monaghan Electrical Intermediate League action continued last Wednesday with Corduff away to Killanny. Having made a great comeback Corduff  were unlucky not to come away with at least a draw. However a late injury time goal by Killanny sealed the deal for them on a score line of 1-15 to 0-15. Thanks to match sponsors Dermon Hand and Martin McMahon of D and M Roofing plus Peadar Marron of Marron Farm Services.

Action continues tomorrow  Friday 12th July with Round 12 Corduff away to Tyholland. Throw-in at 8pm.

Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League Division 2B: 

Round 10 is on Wednesday 17th July with Corduff away to Inniskeen at 8pm.

Kelloggs Cul Camps:  Cul 4 Life: The Annual Kelloggs Cul Camps continue this week with camps in Castleblayney, Inniskeen, Monaghan and Emyvale. It’s advisable to book for the Corduff camp which takes place from July 22nd – 26th as soon as possible. Online booking can be done by going to kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. Fixtures:

Blitz: This Saturday 13th July  Corduff is hosting an U8 and U10’s blitz  @ 10am.

U12s: The U12s are away to Inniskeen  at 12noon.

Results: Fresh from Feile the U14 team were back in action last Saturday in the league semifinal against Magheracloone. In what was a great team effort by the girls they got off to an excellent start and by the interval were ahead on a scoreline of 3-3 to 0-3. The Corduff girls continued to build on this lead after the restart and were victorious on a final scoreline of 3-07 the 0-5 hence booking a place in the league final which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 20th July. More details to follow! Congratulations to the team and management on reaching another final in 2019! 

Intermediate Championship Season!

Corduff Senior Ladies travelled to Inniskeen last Wednesday 3rd July for the Monaghan Intermediate Championship Quarter Final between Inniskeen and Corduff. From the throw-in Corduff took control of matters. This dominance continued all through the match with Corduff building a commanding lead whereas for Inniskeen scores were hard earned. By the final whistle Corduff had cruised to victory advancing to the semifinal stage on a scoreline of 3-21 to 1-02 bringing the curtain down on Inniskeen’s 2019 championship season.
