Reserves: The Reserves exited the Championship on Friday evening last when they were defeated by Truagh on a score line of 3-09 to 0-09. In the first half Aughnamullen opened the scoring but were then dealt a blow by a Trugh goal however the home side scored a quick point to reduce the lead and both sides kept the scoreboard ticking along and after 20 minutes Truagh had a slender 2 point lead again the home side put on the pressure and scored a number of scores without reply entering the final minutes to level the score up but Truagh scored the final point of the half to lead by 1 at the break by 1-04 to 0-06.  In the second half Truagh's seized the initative of the game and scored 1-05 without reply to go into a 9 point lead and although Aughnamullen scored a number of fine scores Truaghs lead remained firm and they ran out easy winners. Next game is on Sunday next away to Ballybay at 2pm. Best wishes to the team and management.

Under 17: The Under 17 team played away to Truagh on Tuesday last and came away with a hard earned 3 point victory over the hosts winning by 4-12 to 4-09. In the first half Aughnamullen went into an early lead but credit to the home side they eventually overturned the deficit and went into the lead at were 3 points in front at half time 2-05 to 1-05. In the second half Aughnamullen again started the half scoring 1-03 to lead by 3 but back again came Truagh with a goal of their own and from that to the finish there was little separating the sides until a late Aughnamullen goal proved the difference and they ran out winners. This is the last game before the exams and on behalf of the club we would like to wish every player all the best in their exams.
