The Eamonn McElroy & Benny Connolly Memorial Cup will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 22nd April in Tully. This is a U15 competition with 8 teams in total taking part. The first matches start at 10am help will be required throughout the day with parking, registration, serving food and stewarding at pitches. Donations of food will be greatly appreciated. Monaghan GAA are organising their very popular Easter Camp again this year. The camp will take place on the 23rd, 24th & 25th April. Times are from 10am to 2.30pm daily and the venues are Clones, Ballybay & Scotstown. The cost is €40 per child, with €35 for every child after and there is a Free Hoodie & posters for each participant. Suitable for children aged between 5 – 12 years of age, boys and girls. Places can be booked online through the links on the Monaghan GAA website or you can download the Easter Camps 2019 Application Form. Monaghan Coaching & Games organised & delivered a Primary School Skills competition for boys and girls in 5th and 6th class. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for the children where they got to showcase their skills and represent their school. There were 19 schools in attendance over the 3 days with both Corracrin NS & Glaslough NS taking part, well done to everyone involved.

Seniors played Magheraclone on Saturday last and were beaten 1.18 – 13pts. Next up is a home game vs Sean Mc Dermotts on Saturday evening, throw in time is 7pm.

U7s training continues on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 on pitch. The U7’s are on clean up duty after the Bingo for the month of April so let Damien know if you are free for 20 minutes on Thursday evening to help out.

U9s took part in the All County Blitz in Cloghan last Saturday. In cold and breezy conditions we had two teams taking part and they both played really well, keep up the good work everyone. Training continues in Tully on Wednesday and Friday evenings between 7-8pm.

U11 Game scheduled for Easter Saturday against Tyholland has been postponed to a later date. Training continues every Monday and Thursday 7.15 -8.25.

U 13 Div 2 and Div 6 teams are going along very well so far this season and they both recorded wins again at the weekend. U13 Div 2 team played Magheracloone winning on a scoreline of 5-12 to 1-02. Our U13 Div 6 also won their match beating Clontibert on a scoreline of 6-06 to 2-08. Great work and commitment from both the players and the management, keep up the great work. Next matches for both teams take place on Saturday 27th April with U13 Div 2 team playing Latton at home at 12pm and our U13 Div 6 team play Castleblayney away at 2pm.

U15 had their second league match of the season last Thursday evening and they recorded their first victory away to Aghabog winning on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-06. They also played a challenge match against Tyholland on Sunday afternoon and thanks to Tyholland for coming down for the game. The third league match take place this evening in Tully against Aughnamullen with a thrown in time of 6:45pm, can all players please be in Tully at 6pm.

Our U17’s team lost by one point last week away v Monaghan Harps the final score was 3-10 to 3-09. Our next league game is not for few weeks. There will be no training Holy Thursday evening but we be back training Tuesday 23rd April 7.30-9pm.

Hard luck to all the Emyvale boys involved with U16 Buncrana Cup team & the U17 team who played in the Jim McGuigan Cup League Final who were both defeated by Tyrone last weekend.

Well done to Amelia Murphy in the solo singing section of Scor 2019 final held in Castlebar on Saturday last. Despite putting in an excellent performance she just fell short but she was a winner in our eyes. Well done.
