DR WARD CUP: Our seniors got there first win of the season in Scotstown last Saturday night aided by a strong breeze we built up an early lead which the locals couldnt peg back in the second half, a much improved performance but still loads to work on for upcoming games next of which is home to Rockcorry on the 27th April at 7pm.

NEW ARRIVAL: Congrats to loyal oram supporters Keith & Amanda Watters on birth of baby recently a star forward for the future. 

U15S: Made it three from three with home win over Doohamlet in blustery conditions on Monday night.

U13S: Our u13s were defeated by a strong Clontibret side last Saturday our next outing is away to Clones on the 27th April at 12.

 

U-11s: The spring league continues for our 11s away to Inniskeen on Saturday at 12, hopefully our unbeaten run continues.

 

U-9s: Two teams attended the opening blitz of the year in Cloghan and both acquitted themselves well. 

 

U15s: Defeated Aughnamullen away last Thursday night.

 

SCHOOLS ACTION: Well done to Cathal Mc Cooey who played full back on the Our Ladys Secondary team who defeated St Marys Belfast in the Ulster u13.5 quarter final in Newry last week, they now play in the Patrican Carrick in Ulster semi -final after Easter. 

 

ULSTER U-17 LEAGUE FINAL: There was no joy for our club representatives in Glen last Saturday when Monaghan lost out to Tyrone after extra time in the Jim Mc Guigan Cup final, attention now turns to the preliminary round of the Ulster championship on Saturday were Monaghan face Down in Clones at 6pm. We wish Conor & Jason well and are particular proud to have two representatives from the club on championship duty with Jason chosen as captain for the year last week.

 

ANNIVERSARY: Huge numbers attended both Tom Mc Bride 1st anniversary mass and Dance in the club on Saturday evening. A big well done to our ladies committee who supplied the refreshments to the people who attended from near and far after the mass, thanks to Dermot and Mc Bride family who organised the dance and fundraiser for Drogheda and the Oram club, special mention to Louise Rooney who co-ordinated all of Saturday events in the hall during the day and in organising the raffle at the dance. Thanks to The acts who travelled from near and far who provided a fitting tribute to Tom on his 1st Anniversary.
