Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 10, 17, 22 and 23. The four lucky dip winners were Leo Marron, Magheross, Philip and Margaret McCabe, Elizabeth McCaul and Bernie Duffy and each win €50. Our next jackpot will be for €1600 and the draw will take place in Treacys Hotel on Monday evening.

Sympathy

The club would like to extend its sincerest sympathies to the family and friends of the late Anne Murray who passed away last week. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Reserves

Our Reserves suffered their first defeat of the year with a loss to a stronger Scotstown side last Sunday. Best wishes to Ryan Farrelly and Ronan McKeown who both got injured during the match.

 

U19’s

Our U19’s start their league campaign on Sunday with an away match against Inniskeen at 12.30pm. Best of luck to the team and management.

 

 

U6’s and U7’s

The Academy continues Saturday at 11am in Kingscourt Community Centre. Gum shields and water essential.

 

U9’s

Our U9’s continue training on Thursday evening in Kingscourt Community Centre from 7pm to 8pm. Gumshields and water essential.

 

U11’s

The U11’s train on Thursday evening in Kingscourt Community Centre, gum shields and water essential.

 

U13’s

U13’s train on Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm at Kingscourt Soccer pitch. First league match is against Latton on Monday at 12 noon, venue to be confirmed. Best of luck to all the players and management for the year ahead.

 

Ladies' Club Notes


U10/U12
Training will commence on Saturday 16th March 5-6pm at Scoil Bhride, Mullaghrafferty.

U13 Championship
Our U13's were due to play Latton last Sunday in the Division 3 Championship but due to the pitch being deemed unplayable, the game was postponed.

U14 Championship
Our U14's had a comfortable win over a young Tyholland side in the Division 1 Championship quarter final last weekend. We await the draw for the semi-final pairings.

Minors
The Championship begins this weekend for our Minor girls. They have a home fixture against Sean McDermotts on Monday 18th March. Venue/time TBC.

Child protection/welfare talk:
A very well attended informative talk was held last Friday night in Treaceys Hotel for the parents/guardians of our underage children on child protection. It was excellently facilitated by RDAI National Welfare Officer Mary Walsh. We would like to express our appreciation to Mary for sharing her knowledge and experience with us. We as a Club believe the welfare of our children is first and paramount!!
