Drumhowan Club Notes

Reserves- Our reserve team lost to Eire Óg on Sunday last with a final score of 3-10 to 5 points. There is no game fixed for this weekend, next game is at home to Seans on Saturday 23rd March.

 

U19s- The first game for the St Pats U19 team will be at home against Emyvale on St. Patricks Day. Please keep an eye on the club’s social media outlets for any changes that may occur.

 

U17s- Training will continue on the Ballybay Astro Pitch on Mondays and Thursdays at 8pm.

 

U15s- Training continues Monday and Thursday at 8pm. The league starts at the end of March.

 

U13s- The U13 League starts next Monday 18th March, Drumhowan has a bye for the first round so no game this week. Best of luck to the players and their managers- Donal McAdam, Aidan Doherty, Brendan Traenor, Cormac Duffy and Jason McEntee in the year ahead.

 

U11s- U11s League starts Saturday 23rd away to Doohamlet.

 

U7-9s- Training will commence on Monday 25th March in Drumhowan. Any parents who would be willing to help out must complete the Child Protection Course and Vetting. New children are very welcome so please spread the word.

 

Congratulations- Big congratulations to one of our best juvenile supporters Ludmila Tihomirova and Gerard Traynor on the birth of their baby boy Kevin last week.

 

Well Done- Well done to Tom Doherty who ran an excellent race in the All Ireland Schools Cross Country Finals representing St. Macartan’s College. Tom finished in an incredible 6th place and he has done his school, clubs and everyone very proud. Congratulations Tom!
