Annual Buffet & Presentation Dance: Our Annual Buffet & Presentation Dance was held in the Social Centre on Saturday last. In front of a large audience the following were the awards winners for 2018, Senior player of the year Pete Dooney, Reserve Player of the year Damien Duffy, U21 player of the year Stephen Geoghegan, Minor player of the year Kieran Marron, Under 17 Player of the year Liam Duffy, there was a special presentation made to Joel Wilson for winning an Ulster Minor Double with the county in 2018. Medals were presented to the successful Under 21 team of 2018 and finally 2 men who gave sterling effort to the club over the past number of years i.e. Martin Mc Ardle & Seamus Conlon were inducted into our Club Hall of Fame. A great night was had by all.

 

Juvenile Presentation: The Juvenile Presentation takes place this Sunday the 24th of February from 3pm - 5pm. Every player from Under 9 - Under 15 will receive a presentation and there will also be various player of the year awards given out. Food will be served to all the players. As the new playing season starts soon there is a need for new training gear so donations will be accepted at the door for the new training gear please support if you can.

 

Seniors: The Senior team first game is provisionally against Cremartin on Saturday 30th March more details in the coming weeks.

 

Reserves: The Reserves commence their league campaign on Sunday week the 3rd of March with an away game against Latton

 

Congrats: Congratulations is extended to Kevin Sheridan & DCU St Pats which won the Intermediate Colleges Championship in Mallow Co Cork last weekend.

 

 

Ladies: The Ladies are running a Texas Holdem Poker Classic on Saturday the 9th of March in the social centre commencing at 7pm. Admission is €30 with an optional buy - in and top up of €20. Registration commences at 6pm.

 

First Communion/ Confirmation: With First Holy communion on the 11th May and Sacrament of Confirmation on the 19th May Aughnamullen Social Centre are awarding special packages for families for meals and entertainment on these dates.  For further details contact  Club Chairman Paddy Markey on 0876839256 Club Secretary Ann Blanche on 0834191986 or the Social Centre on 0429745626 after 8pm.

 

Date for your Diary: On Easter Sunday night  the very popular Lee Matthews will provide music in the Social Centre more details later. Whilst on Saturday 25th May popular magician and entertainer Jack Wise is performing in the Social Centre a great nights entertainment is guaranteed

 

 

Membership/Registration: Membership is now due anyone wishing to use our facilities must be fully registered member as per insurance rules from Croke Park. Aughnamullen Fitness Centre Teen Camp: Aughnamullen Fitness Centre Teen Camp continues in the Fitness Centre this Sat. morning at 9-30am for girls and from 10.30am for boys

Michael Quinn & Declan Keenan Memorial Cup: The eagerly anticipated Michael Quinn & Declan Keenan Memorial Cup will be held this year between Aughnamullen and Clonbollogue(Offaly) in Clonbollogue on this Saturday at 3pm. Proceeds from the game will be shared between Pieta House and Homeless Charity and it is hoped and encouraged that as many members as possible support the day and the very worthwhile charities.
