Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the four numbers picked were 5, 7, 19 and 21. PJ Reilly, Nadine Burns, McArdle family, Leonsgarve and Niall Byrne, Clonseady each win €50 from the Lucky Dip draw. Next week's jackpot is for €3200 and the draw will take place in the club rooms on Monday evening. You can do the lotto via the usual outlets and online at www.magheracloonemitchells.

Seniors

Our Seniors return to Clones once again after defeating Castleblayney last weekend in Inniskeen. Magheracloone made it two wins out of two in Inniskeen in the Championship and confirmed their place in the semi-final. It was a game that Magheracloone generally had a good hold of but Blayney never gave up and pushed the Mitchells defense to the limits especially in the last five minutes. Super goal keeping by Jack Kirk had an immense effect on the way the game went and Magheracloone saw the game out on a scoreline of 0-10 to 0-09. We now meet Scotstown in the semi-final on Sunday afternoon at 3pm in Clones. Senior management would like to thank all the supporters for their support throughout the year and urge all the Mitchells to come and cheer them on in Clones.

Minors

Our Minors secured the Division 1 League Cup in style last Wednesday as they defeated Aughnamullen in the replay by five points. A great start by the Mitchells saw us scoring 2-02 in the first eight minutes and from there the game never really looked in doubt. Well done to all the lads and management on the great win.

U11’s

Our U11’s played their best football of the year last Saturday and reached the Shield Semifinal of the BC Tournament in Emyvale. Unfortunately they lost out in sudden death to the eventual winners Truagh after the two teams couldn’t be separated after extra time. Hard luck lads but well done on all your efforts.

U9’s and U10’s

We are hosting our annual Tournament this Saturday in Magheracloone. Both our U9’s and U10’s will compete against teams from Corduff, Kingscourt, Carrick, Drumgoon and Emyvale. This was a great success last year and a great days football was had by all. Parents are asked to bring refreshments for after and all help is greatly appreciated.

Our U8’s had a great run out against Nobber on Tuesday evening. All our players got a lot of game time and made their debut under lights! Thank you to Nobber GFC for hosting us.

U6’s Academy

Training for boys born in 2013 will start on Saturday 29th at 9:30am in the Centre. For further details contact Padraic on 0876575827.

Ladies Notes

Congratulations to Magheracloone Minor Boys on a convincing win over Aughnamullen in the Division 1 League Final last week.

Well done also to the Senior Men on advancing to the Semi Final of the Championship with a great win over Castleblayney Faughs last week. Best of luck to the team and management this weekend against Scotstown.
