ALL IRELAND SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER FINALS PHASE 2

Monaghan v Kerry: St. Tiarnach's Park, Clones: Sunday July 22nd @ 4.00pm

Beware the wounded beast could well be the battle cry for Monaghan as they prepare for their 2nd outing in the All Ireland senior football championship quarter-finals, this time when they face a Kerry team that will be smarting, even hurting deeply, from their defeat by Galway in Croke Park on Sunday last. Kerry will travel to Clones determined to put the record straight and get their championship aspirations back on track as a second defeat would end their season completely, so there is bound to be a sting in the tail that Monaghan have to be prepared for and one that will turn this game into a conflagration right from the very start. An indication of the Kerry mindset was the fact that a deeply disappointed Eamon Fitzmaurice, in the aftermath of their defeat to Galway in Croke Park last Sunday, moved on immediately to what's happening this weekend stating that they have very little time to dwell on that defeat as they need to prepare for their trip to Clones this Sunday.

NAMING RIGHTS TO CLOGHAN SECURED BY MAJOR INTERNATIONAL COMPANY

Monaghan GAA announced last week that they had secured a major sponsorship partnership with Monaghan and California based company Entekra who purchased the naming rights to the Monaghan Centre of Excellence at Cloghan. The partnership will last for an initial 3 years and will mean that in this period the Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence in Cloghan will now become known as the "Entekra Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence"

EntekraT is a design, engineering and manufacturing company that provides a fully integrated off-site solution (FIOSST) for both residential and commercial construction in the US market. The company's main design and engineering department is based at its European Headquarters, which is located in Monaghan town. The company's manufacturing base is located in Ripon, Northern California, where they plan to build a second large scale fully automated manufacturing facility, which will be operational in Mid-2019.

CLONES TO HOST THE 'GAA BE THERE EXPERIENCE'

The GAA be there experience is a match day promotional pop-up area led out by the GAA (as opposed to an associated third party or sponsor) that aims to create a buzz pre-match and an opportunity not normally afforded to the wider GAA fan base (a money-can't buy experience). It will appeal to fans of all ages and seeks to enhance their overall 'day out'. It should draw people to the venue a little earlier than usual and offer families a distraction pre-match.
