Doohamlet club notes

May 23, 2018

Seniors: Doohamlet's excellent league form continued on Friday evening last when we travelled to play Sean McDermotts and were full value for a 3.08 to 1.06 win. Barry McBennett was our Star man who dominated the game from midfield  and helping himself to three points. Niall Connolly once again showed his prowness in front of goal and netted twice with John Murphy also scoring Doohamlet's third and decisive goal. Others to catch the eye were Kevin McArdle, Conor Marray and Ryan Ingram in defence with Paul McArdle, Gavin King and Jason McElroy all on target. On the down side however, we picked up two injuries with Jamie Walshe and Barry McBennett having to be withdrawn. We wish them both well in their recovery. Next up for Doohamlet is a home fixture on Sunday next against Currin. Throw-in 3.00pm.

Well Done: To Colin Walshe and the entire Monaghan panel on an excellent result last weekend. We wish them well as they prepare to take on Fermanagh in the Ulster Semi-final.
