Lotto:

The weekly Lotto draw took place on  Monday 21st May 2018  in Boylan's with a jackpot of €6,700.

There was no winner of the jackpot and the numbers drawn were 11, 12, 18 and 24. Congratulations to the 5 Lucky Dip winners Bridie Hand, Cathal Connolly, Gerry Geoghegan, Kieran Connolly and Rian McGrath. This week's draw takes place in The Mountain Dew on  Sunday 27th  May  with a jackpot of €6,800.

The Lotto will be on sale in usual outlets so your continued support would be appreciated.

Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League: Tyholland 1-12 Corduff 1-11

Fixtures:

Platinum Tanks Crawley Cup Championship Quarter Final: Championship season hit Corduff on Wednesday evening with the first Championship match of the season. Corduff, the  current  2B Reserve League table toppers welcomed Aghabog  for the quarter final. Report to follow  next week.

U15's:  This evening, Thursday Aughnamullen V Corduff at 7:30pm

Eurotech Junior League :  Sunday 27th May Corduff V Drumhowan at 11:30am.

Committee Meeting:

The next Committee meeting is this Monday 28th May  at 8:30pm in The Heritage Room.

Ulster Championship Update:

Ulster Football Championship: Last Sunday was a super Sunday for Monaghan football. First up was the minor team which left it late but after extra time were victorious over Down. Once again Jordan McGarrell's work rate was influential in that victory. Congratulations to Jordan and to Manager Seamus McEnaney. They now advance to the Ulster semifinal on 30th June.

Congratulations is also extended to the Monaghan Senior team and management on dethroning Tyrone, the 2017 Ulster champions. The senior team  has set up a semifinal pairing with Fermanagh on June 3rd which will be played once again in Healy Park, Omagh.

As always it is recommended to get your tickets well in advance either online or  in Centra and Super Valu stores to avail of a discount.

 

 

Juvenile Fundraiser:

June Bank Holiday means it's time for the annual heifer raffle! This year 1st prize will be a purebred Simmental heifer, 2nd prize 1 night's B&B in The Westenra Hotel plus an evening meal and 3rd prize is €100 meal voucher for The Bailie Hotel. Tickets will be on sale over the Bank Holiday Weekend on Main Street Carrickmacross . Your continued support would be very much appreciated.

5k Fun Run / Walk

Save the date, Sunday 10th June for the Corduff Ladies 5k Fun Run/Walk. Corduff Ladies are inviting all runners,walkers,strollers and running clubs to join us on 10th June. The run starts at the Corduff Raferagh Community Centre at 12:30pm with registration from 11:30am. Rates are as follows: Adults €10 and Family rate €20. There will be prizes for first male/female and student home. Refreshments  served.
