Referees co-ordinator Frank Gallogly reminded delegates of the shortage of referees  and asked clubs to put referees high in their agenda. He said a new referees course would commence in early February.

Gallogly reminded all clubs that they should have a referee while the bigger clubs should have two.

He said that the recent two-day event for GAA members who wished to become GAA Youth Referees was an outstanding success with over 60 young people completing the course.

Ciaran Flynn, Andrew Smith, Davy Nelson, Nick Fitzgerald and David Coldrick were thanked for helping to make it a success.
