Dunboyne made a good start to the 2019 Div 3 hurling league and finished stronger to claim the points in their opening game against Wolfe Tones in Kilberry on Saturday evening.

The scores were level at 1-6 each at the break with Brian O'Hara registering a trademark 1st half goal for Dunboyne.

Both sides defended very well and struggled to score in the early part of the 2nd half. However Dunboyne's blend of youth and experience, including Darragh Finlay who was making his adult hurling debut, finished stronger and ran out deserving 3 point winners.
