The O’Raghallaighs Senior Team suffered their second defeat of the season in what was a very open game of football in Ardee on Sunday afternoon.

U11 Blitz Report:

Well done to the U11's who travelled to Darver on Friday, facing off John Mitchels, St Mochtas and Roche Emmets. Thanks to all who travelled. Hope they've thawed out by now. Congrats to Senan and Conor who missed the awards ceremony on the night, but got their medals afterwards for their part in U12 League runner up squad last summer.

U8 Blitz Report:

Last Sunday saw the start of the new season’s U8’s regional blitzes, where 15 of our clubs youngest talent took to the field to compete against local teams that included the Newtown Blues, Oliver Plunketts and Wolfe Tones. Fielding two teams, our young players represented our club with great passion, demonstrating great skill and teamwork in all games played. It was great to see both new players and old play competitively for the first time this season and also to see some of our U7’s step up to play at the U8 level.

Many thanks to Newtown Blues for hosting and to the Blues, the Plunketts and Wolf Tones for providing some great games of football. Many thanks also to the families of our young players for their continued support.

Training for U7’s and U8’s continues every Wednesday evening at 7pm at our clubs pitch where new players are always welcome.
