Sheelan Cup: Well the great start to the season came to an end last Sunday morning in a cold, wet and windy Darver. A ten point loss to Cooley puts us out of the Sheelan Cup and now we must get ready for the start of the division two league. I did comment in the last couple of weeks about the number of players we had at each of the last three games with sometimes six or seven subs to choose from. Well it was the opposite last Sunday with just the bare fifteen to choose from and two of our veterans had to line out as subs, Leslie Walsh and Stephen Hoey. However that was not the reason for the defeat we had plenty of chances and just did not take them. The division two league is expected to start on the last weekend of March.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 13th March at 8.00pm, jackpot €2,400 in 48 numbers.

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 16th March in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, music by Unity, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.

Louth: Louth wiil play in group 3 of the Leinster Minor Footbal Championship along with Kilkenny, Kildare and Wicklow. They will play Kilkenny away on 23/4/19 then at home to Kildare on 8/5/19 followed by an away trip to Wicklow on 15/5/19.

Cúl Camp: The O’Connells cúl camp for 2019 will be on from 15/7/19 to 19/7/19 and online booking is now open as from 1st March on www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
