Death of PJ Bennett:

There was deep sadness on Thursday when word came through of the death of PJ Bennett. PJ played with the club in the 1970s. As a mark of respect the club formed a guard of honour before the funeral in Newtownforbes on Sunday. We extend our sincere sympathy to all PJs family.

 

CPR Classes:

There will be free CPR classes held on November 16th in Emmet Park Clonee. Classes takes place at the following times 10am,11.30am &1pm. You can register for a place on the course by logging onto www.handsforlife.ie and register under Co. Longford. Please note booking is essential. The course is open to all groups in the parish.

 

Lotto:

Our weekly lotto draw took place in Begleys Bar on Sunday night. There were no jackpot winners. The numbers drawn were 8, 12, 25 and 33. The €20 winners were Ciaran & Sarah Lennon Drumlish, Peter Dillon Ballinamuck, Shane Clarke Ohill, Maebh Brady Boher and Andrea Clarke Clontumpher.

The sellers prize went to Brendan McCormack.

 

Next weeks draw takes place in The Olde Forge and the jackpot will be €8,900.
