Dromard Ladies Club Notes

County Matters: Hard Luck to our Senior Panel who lost the Division 3 Semi Final against Meath. All eyes now turn to our own Kate McEntire and Louise Tierney and their u/14 teammates as they prepare for stage 1 of the All Ireland Championship series this Sat in Moate. Good Luck girls.

Fixtures and Results: Our Senior Ladies were not out over Easter, so now look forward to a Division 1 match away to Killoe on Sunday. Our U/16 Panel are busy with fixtures. Having beaten St.Helens to maintain their 100% start they will have played near neighbours Colmcille last night (Tues) at home, before travelling tomorrow (Thurs) to play Ballymahon/Forgney. Reports next week. Our U/12s lost their second game to a very good Mostrim side, and now travelled to St.Helen's Easter Monday hoping to kick-start their season. Next up on Mon 29th they entertain Ballymore at home. Our U/10s get their first run out of the year on Sat when they travel to Ballymore for their first blitz. Good Luck to all of our panels at this busy time of the year.

Training: Continues every Sat at 10am in Pairc na nGael for all girls aged 6 to 16.The U/16 Panel are also training with the Seniors and the improvement they are showing is clearly visible. On Easter Saturday at training, we had a lovely surprise when the Easter Bunny arrived halfway through our session to play a few games and lead an Easter Egg Hunt
around the grounds. Luckily, everybody, including the younger brothers and sisters who regularly come to watch managed to find an egg to take home. So many thanks to Mrs Rabbit for coming to see us.

Birthdays: Three girls celebrating this week. On Saturday Sarah Maguire will be 12, on Sunday Farragh Shannon will be 7 and on Tuesday Grace Duffy will be 9. All of us in Dromard hope you have a lovely day and we are so proud to have you all as players.
