I know this all sounds doom and gloom for Laois, but one has to be realistic and say it as it is. The Dubs to win comfortably.
Not to mention the fact that Dublin have the strongest squad in the country at present and the simple fact is that they can finish with a stronger 15 than the one they started with.
Dublin are just that far ahead. Not only that the hunger and drive is still very much there. The likes of Michael Dara Macauley has got a new lease of life in the middle of the park and alongside the ever improving Brian Fenton, they are the most formidable midfield partnership in the country at present.
That is the stark reality of the situation and it is no disrespect to Laois in anyway as the same would happen any county in Leinster and indeed the majority of the country.
Well, if that is the case, we could be looking at anywhere between a 15 to 20 point defeat.
Laois manager John Sugrue suggested during the week that they would come out and attack the Dubs!!
Let's be realistic, Dublin are going to win, the question is, by how much.
The bookies suggest that Donegal and Dublin will be crowned champions in their respective provinces and to be honest it is very hard to argue against that.
Two Provincial Finals left
We're half way through the provincial senior football finals and by the end of today, we should have the four champions known
