Match Report: - JAHC v Old Christians:

Mungret…Fri 13th…6pm….With the sun splitting the rocks and the pitch in immaculate conditions the conditions were set

for the much anticipated ‘winner takes all’ JAHC City semi final with the winners claiming a City final spot v Patrickswell or Mungret

and a much coveted position in the county quarter finals.

A tough and dogged opening half saw both teams level at the break at 0-5 each. Claughaun started second half strongly and eased into a 4pt

lead when Emmett Harty struck for the decisive goal on the 20th minute mark to put clear daylight between the teams.

Both teams battled hard with no quarter asked or given & at Patsy Coffeys final whistle we ended up 1-13 to 0-8 winners,

much to the delight of the fantastic cacophony from our loyal band of supporters who’s support was very much appreciated

by the team and management on the day.

We now await the winners for the other drawn semi final from last nite(Sun 15th Sep) & await the draw for the county series to determine

our opponents.
