Killeedy GAA & Camogie Club Development Draw:

Over the next two weeks, club promoters will be looking for your continued support in our Club Development Draw.

There are five draws, with a top prize in each draw of €500. 2nd prize is €200, 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes are €100. The draws are scheduled for the first two weekends in October.

Health & Wellbeing Notes:

Healthy Club Project - WE DID IT...

Killeedy GAA & Camogie Healthy Club Project completed Phase 3 of the Healthy Club Project and will receive official recognition at the 2019 Healthy Club Conference in Croke Park on Saturday, October 5th.

 

Killeedy GAA & Camogie Healthy Club undertook two priority areas; Physical Activity and Healthy Eating. Initiatives such as a Healthy Eating and Cooking Workshop linking with local secondary school Hazelwood College and Operation Transformation and the GAA "Ireland Lights Up" last January/Feburary. Promoting healthy eating at Gorm & Bán Summer camp with a Healthy Lunch boxes initiative to name a few.

 

Killeedy GAA & Camogie Clubs are also  "Smoke Free Club".

 

Gaelic 4 Mother & Others

Big Congratulations to Feohanagh/Castlemahon LGFC Gaelic 4 Mothers and others group who won a competition and will play at half time in the All Ireland Ladies Football Final on September 15th in Croke Park. Joann, a member of Killeedy GAA and Camogie Healthy Club Project is one of the 10 ladies selected to play.

Well done to all everyone that played against Knockaderry last Monday 2nd September and against Ballybrown this week on Monday 9th Sep. 2 great games. Thanks to Aoibhean Kelleher and Jenny Curtin for togging out against Ballybrown.

Killeedy/Tournafulla play Monaleen on Thursday @7pm 12th September in Tournafulla. Your support would be great.

 

U13:

Well done to our U13s who came back from a first half defecate against NCW, to end the game in a well-deserved draw.

 

U14:

Hard luck to our Killeedy-Tournafulla U14 team today. 24th game played today by this group of players this year, well done to each & everyone of them for making the commitment to train all year. Thanks to the coaches who gave up their time, John Collins, Don Flynn, Seamus Curtin, Sam Foley, the mentors who helped out Daithi O'Regan, Jerry Kennedy, France's Collins, to our First Aid Michelle Collins thank you very much, thanks again to Miranda & Sam Foley for their fabulous tops they bought for them & wore with pride today and finally to the parents, grandparents, friends & neighbours who supported them all year by bringing them to training, matches and cheering them on in all weather's.
