This was a game of two halves with Dromcollogher/ Broadford leading at the break by 1-9 to 0-2 with our goal coming Derry McCarthy and then in the second half St. Patrick’s outscored us by 2-10 to 0-5 with St. Patrick’s goals coming from Calvin Moran and Jason Mullins, after two rounds the table read as follows: Glenroe 4 points, St. Patrick’s 3 points, Effin and Hospital/ Herbertstown both on 2 points, Granagh/ Ballingarry a point and Dromcollogher/ Broadford no points.

 

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first seven points of the game, four of these points coming from Derry McCarthy and two more coming from Micheál Brosnan and the other point coming from Jimmy Kiely and then Calvin Moran replied with a point for St. Patrick’s to leave six points between the sides.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 of the game both scores coming from Derry McCarthy and both from frees to leave ten points between the sides with 30 minutes in the game and then St. Patrick’s replied with a point coming from Gearóid Hegarty to leave nine points between the sides at the end of the half.  To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-8 to St. Patrick’s 0-2.

 

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first point coming from Damien Lacey to leave ten points between the sides once again and then St. Patrick’s scored the next 1-5 all the scores coming from Calvin Moran to leave two points between the sides with 41 minutes gone in the game.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point coming from Derry McCarthy to leave three points between the sides and then St. Patrick’s scored the second goal of the game coming from Jason Mullins to bring the sides back on level terms for the second time during the game with 43 minutes gone in the game.  St. Patrick’s scored the next two points to take lead for the first time during the game and these points came from John Mullane and Calvin Moran and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points and these three points came from Derry McCarthy, Jimmy Kiely and Kevin Noonan to leave a point between the sides once again.  St. Patrick’s scored the last three points of the game, with two of these points coming from Jason Mullins and the other point coming from Calvin Moran to leave two points between the sides at end of the game.  To leave the score at full-time St. Patrick’s 2-12 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-13.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

 

Results of the 334th draw took place on April 15th, in Foley’s Bar, Broadford and the numbers drawn were: 5, 7, 19, 29 there was no winner of the jackpot at €4,300 and there also was three winners of Match three at €105 and they both €35 each and they were Paddy Stack, Farrihy, Broadford, Helen Neenan, Broadford and John O’Gorman, Milford and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Marie O’Callaghan, Broadford and John O’Gorman, Kilmeedy and the next draw took place on Tuesday April 23rd, in the Green Bar, Dromcollogher and the Jackpot went up to €4,400 and the match three stayed at €100.  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.
