Premier Minor Football Championship

Our Minors start their Minor Football Campaign next week when we make the trip to Childers Road.

Round 1 versus Claughaun. Venue: Claughaun. Throw in TBC

Limerick Minor Football

Hard luck to the Limerick Minor Football team who were defeated in the opening round of the Munster Minor Championship last week. Our two panellists Eddie Murphy O’Connor and Tomas Sheahan failed to make the match day squad. Next up for the Minor Footballers is a tough trip to Fraher Field to take on Waterford this Wednesday. Throw in is at 7pm. Best of luck to all involved.

Sympathies

Ballysteen GAA extends sympathy to the family and friends of Eddie Walsh. The Club was saddened to hear of the death of Eddie who played half on the great teams of the 1960’s. Eddie won a County Junior Football title in 1961 with Ballysteen and County Senior Titles in 1964 with Ballysteen and 1966 with Askeaton. Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam.

Ballysteen GAA extends sympathy to the family and friends of Bridie Barrett who passed away recently. Our thoughts are with Gerry, Triona, Daithi, Aidan and Gearoid. Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam.

Do It For Diarmuid Quiz

We are working on running the quiz on a new date. Details will be confirmed on our social media channels and our club notes in the coming weeks.
