LOTTO:

There was no Jackpot winner in the Lotto on Saturday 6th April: the numbers drawn were 0-4-7-3-1-2-5-6, €30 winners on the night wear Martin Bohan, Diarmuid Brady, Catherine Charles, Eamon Heslin & Cathal McNamara. The House prize sponsored by the Dugout was won by Gerry Maher. The next Lotto draw will be on Saturday 20th April with St Joseph’s Ladies Team hosting the draw. The Jackpot now stands at €13,200.

 

ST JOSEPH’S BOYS:

Well done to our U13 team who have qualified for the Division 2 League Final.  We defeated Annaduff on Sunday last in a very close and exciting game, great credit to both teams for this display of football.  We led by a single point at half time as both teams traded score for score but Annaduff upped their game in the second half to lead by 3 points with a couple of minutes left in the game.  Our boys never gave up and kept defending well and were rewarded with a goal to level the game with time almost up, from the resultant kick out we got possession again and kicked it over the bar to go one point up.  There was still time for one more Annaduff attack and this time the crossbar came to our rescue and we cleared our lines to the relief of the final whistle, this is a great way to win a game but awful way to lose one and we wish this Annaduff team better luck next time.  Our opponents in league final are St Bridget’s and this game may be played next weekend.  Please check the fixtures and come and support our boys on the day.

 

FIXTURES:

Our Div 2 team were defeated by Carrigallen on Saturday evening last; our next game is in Dromod against Bornacoola on Saturday 13th April at 7pm. Our Div 4 team lost to Kilturbid on Sunday in the park.

 

CUL CAMP 2019:
