Ross King scored an injury-time goal to send Rathdowney-Errill through to the Laois SHC final at Camross' expense yesterday.

The county star's winner came exactly a year after he had two of his teeth knocked out and suffered a split lip in a controversial incident against the same opposition in the county final. Camross were on course for a three-in-a-row of Bob O'Keeffe Cups when they led by two points before King's brilliant late strike handed Rathdowney-Errill a 1-15 to 0-17 victory.

Their final opposition will be Borris-Kilcotton who saw off Clough-Ballacolla by 0-25 to 1-15 in the first of yesterday's semi-final double-header at O'Moore Park.

PJ Scully starred for the winners with a huge haul of 0-18, including three from play, as Borris-Kilcotton recovered from the concession of an early Stephen Bergin to reach the decider on October 20.
