Coogan expects different kind of test

Nowlan Park is the venue for the Leinster club IHC final.

Tullaroan manager Jimmy Coogan believes that they will face their sternest test to date when meeting Offaly champions Seir Kieran in the Leinster club IHC final on Saturday afternoon.

The sides meet in Nowlan Park tomorrow and Tullaroan will be hoping to continue their magical year by claiming provincial honours.

However, Coogan is wary of the threat that the Offaly side pose and he feels that his charges will have to be at their best to gain the win.

“They are obviously very good. It is going to be a big test, a different kind of test to what we faced against Rosenallis and Naas,” Coogan told the Kilkenny People.

He added: “Everything is upbeat and positive. The whole parish is on a high. We face a big test and hopefully we can keep things going.”
