Kilkenny players still involved in their respective Leinster club championships will be available for the next round of games after their travel plans were changed.

Kilkenny are travelling to Australia to play Galway in the Wild Geese Trophy exhibition game in Sydney as part of Irish Culture week over there.

The Kilkenny People reports that this includes the Ballyhale contingent of TJ Reid, Joey Holden, Colin Fennelly and Richie Reid, Graigue-Ballycallan’s Billy Ryan and Tullogher-Rosbercon's Walter Walsh.

The Ballyhale players are set to fly back three days earlier than the rest of the squad to prepare for their Leinster club SHC semi final against Wexford’s Naomh Eanna.

Ryan will also be back for his side’s clash against another Wexford side St Mogue’s in the Leinster club IHC semi-final, while Walsh can return with the rest of the squad as Tullogher’s Leinster club JFC semi final is not until November 24th.
