Kildare u21

In defence of Jason Ryan, he has used the two u21 players sensibly. He could have started him against Meath and Roscommon but chose not to. Hopefully Kildare will see the benefits down the line.

I always thought Neil Flynn & Chris Healy were special talents. It's inevitable they will get called up into senior panel, maybe after the 21's championship? Neil Flynn was excellent the other night, as was Healy. Special mention to Niall Kelly's point, simply majestic. A massive talent

Big jump no doubt but he is a player who from watching underage, always impressed me. Will be interesting to see how the Leinster final goes, will be a big test for this group of players.

Best of luck to the lads on Thursday, a leinster final vs Dublin is where you want to be and regardless of the result,it will benefit these players. Team will be the same as last day out?

We should definatley see this as an opportunity to resurrect the football season . We have very good first 15 .McGuire is the only U21 fullback playing county while still in school. A serious talent in defense.

Young Neil Flynn from Maynooth is a fantastic free-taker as displayed last night! Thought the lads played well and at one stage in the second half I thought we were going to pull away and win but unfortunately the Dubs got the crucial scores at the crucial time. Lots to be positive about however as many of this starting team are eligible for the U21's next year. Big respect for Murphy after the game who said he wanted to go toe to toe with the Dubs rather than deploy a defensive system, the lads did themselves proud. Hope Niall Kelly's injury isn't bad but i'm hearing hes a major doubt for Sunday

Dublin were far superior in most areas. we could have won it but we could also have been hammered.

Flynn is the most talented forward in the county by a mile. We can aspire even further because a good few are u21 next year.costelloes goals were a killer .

Dubs just about deserved it but cannot fault the Kildare effort. A lot of those players will be back again next year.
