Same here, Mick Foley sounded great again in midfield

I'm not sure that any Kildare performance can ever possiby be as good as Cilian Whelan makes it sound (and that's without hearing it), but the guys on Newstalk were impressed although tempered by Sligo being so awful. Even Parkinson impressed with us.

To keep any team down to 4 points is a great performance. The intensity they showed in a tricky tie was great.

I was listening on KFM and the commentary was a joke, they made it sound as if we were world beaters and even compared one passage of play as "Brazillian! like, comical. Sligo were dreadful and we played ok.

I was very disappointed that we didn't make better use of all the possession we had. However I couldn't understand Sligo's tactics especially in the second half when they had the benefit of the wind and were 5 or 6 points down yet still persevered with just 3 players in the Kildare half. How did they expect to pull back the deficit? What good is a packed defence when you are that far behind? However a plus from the game was the performance once again of Mick Foley.

lads sorry but listening to matches on kfm not to be too critical are really frustrating the commentator goes off on long talks about someone in the crowd or a text from someone in god knows where mid commentary. example jd has the ball passes it to bolton, bolton kicks a lovely one in to kavanagh he is in the square at this point he is all excited your thinking goal on here and then JOE BLOGGS FROM BALLY GO BACKWARDS HAS TEXTED IN BLA BLAH BLAH this could go on for 30 secons or more in the middle of the game. your now wondering where is the ball ????? who has it now ????? did kavnagh score ??????? when he finally comes back to the game the ball has been sent wide and the other team could be doing anything its bad for the heart I prefer to go see game most of the time when I can but god when I cant its really annoying having to listen to it on kfm. all my friends that couldnt go saturday pm said they listened to the game on another channell and said it was great coverage.

I'm in London and tried to listen to the game on KFM on the internet radio but the server was full. Clearly a lot more people like myself listening from overseas and crowding out the server. Had to listen to colm Parkinson on newstalk!
