Leinster Club JFC: Clann na nGael make Ballymore Eustace pay the penalty

Clann na nGael of Meath have advanced to the Leinster Club JFC final at the expense of Ballymore Eustace (Kildare).
A converted 54th minute penalty was decisive as the Royal County representatives claimed the spoils on a scoreline of 2-8 to 1-10 at Trim.
They had trailed by 1-5 to 0-9 at the halfway stage but their perseverance was rewarded and they now await the winners of tomorrow’s semi-final between Rathgarougue-Cushinstown/Shannonbridge in the decider.
