Kildare GAA are expected to appoint Jack O'Connor former All-Ireland winning manager with Kerry, as the new Kildare Senior Football Manager. Jack is no stranger to our club, having played a short stint with Leixlip whilst attending Maynooth University as a student. We wish him well and we will support him and the Kildare team in their future endeavours over the next few seasons. 
 

On the club scene, our Adult teams are deep in action, in their respective championship. A breakdown is as follows: Men's Football - Leixlip have defeated Straffan and Kill in the group stages of the Intermediate Championship. Senior Ladies - Leixlip have qualified for the County Semi-Final against Sarsfields, which will be played on Saturday on Radley. Senior Hurling - Leixlip have their final game of the group stages against Ardclough on Sunday. Senior Camogie - Leixlip continue their Championship campaign with a home tie against Naas on Monday. 
 

Underage wise, many of our underage boys and girls teams resume competitive action over the coming weeks, and we wish them all the best. See Fixtures attached below. Our Academy and Buntus will resume on 7th September at 10@00am in Glen Easton.
