The eight teams battling it out for the Haven Hire senior hurling championship title are in action this weekend.

Three of  the preliminary round games take place on Saturday afternoon, while the remaining fixture is down for decision on Bank Holiday Monday.

Defending champions Celbridge take on Ardclough in a repeat of last year’s county final, while Coill Dubh face Naas and Clane meet Leixlip.

The unfortunate teams that must put their bank holiday weekend on hold are Confey and Eire Og Corrachoill.
