Galway manager Kevin Walsh believes that Kerry are on the way back up as the Tribesmen prepare to face them this weekend.

The Kingdom’s win over Dublin last time out may have only been in the NFL, but there is a growing confidence in the side not seen for a few years.

Walsh knows his team will have to be at their best to get something from the game in Tuam on Sunday and he told the Connacht Tribune that everything has to go their way.

“They were obviously impressive. They have a new lease of life and they are humming and buzzing all over the place,” said Walsh.

“They are very committed, young, fresh and still have plenty of experience.”
