Former stars Katie Liston (Kerry) and Sue Ramsbottom (Laois) remember the 1993 All-Ireland Ladies senior football final between their respective counties.
25 years ago, Kerry beat Laois in the All-Ireland Ladies Senior Football Final. That 1993 decider saw Katie Liston star on the winning team for Kerry, while Laois had brilliant forward Sue Ramsbottom on their ranks.
For Kerry, it was the last of their 11 All-Ireland Senior titles and while the time would come for Laois, in 2001, this was a fourth successive final defeat for the O'Moore County. Ahead of the 2018 TG4 All-Ireland Finals, we brought Katie and Sue back to Croke Park. They chat about what it was like back then, and what it's like now for the stars of today.
