Corofin manager Kevin O’Brien admits that it is never easy picking the defending All-Ireland club SFC champions starting XV.
The Galway, Connacht and All-Ireland champions are in county action this weekend when they take on Salthill/Knocknacarra in the semi-final at Tuam Stadium.
O’Brien revealed to the Connacht Tribune that there is huge competition for places in the squad, which helps drive the players on.
“I think no matter what 15 we put on the pitch lads are going to be disappointed. That in itself is one of our strengths the last few years,” said O’Brien.
“Our philosophy and what we always do is just focus on the next game. The last few years have proven to us that the hardest challenge has always been in Galway. It’s a great way to stay focused.”
