Galway manager Michéal Donoghue has no concerns over his players’ hunger ahead of the championship season.
The Tribesmen entertain Carlow in the Leinster SHC at Pearse Stadium on Sunday afternoon as they look to go all the way to the All-Ireland final.
It has been a long road for some of the Galway squad, but Donoghue stressed to the Connacht Tribune that the appetite for more success is certainly there.
“They are a great group to work with and they are really committed to the cause. They want to be successful and they can be,” stated Donoghue.
“In saying that, there is a huge sense of perspective of never looking too far ahead. The next game is the most important one.”
