Comer to miss rest of league

The Galway footballers have been dealt a major blow with the news that Damien Comer requires ankle surgery and will miss the remainder of the Allianz League.
Galway Bay FM is reporting that the Annaghdown clubman is facing a further three months on the sideline after it emerged that he needs surgery on the ankle injury he sustained before Christmas.
The news leaves Comer a big doubt for Galway's Connacht SFC opener againt London in Ruislip on May 5.
