Corofin will be without Daithi Burke for their Connacht club SFC semi-final clash with Clann na Gael at Dr Hyde Park this afternoon.
The hurling All-Star full-back for the past four seasons has travelled with his Galway team-mates to Australia where they played Kilkenny in the first-ever Wild Geese match at the Spotless Stadium in Sydney today.
The Tribesmen recovered from a 14-point first-half deficit to force a draw (full-time score: Galway 4-23, Kilkenny 3-26) before winning out in a free-taking competition.
Meanwhile, Burke's first cousin Ian Burke, who claimed Galway's first football All-Star since 2003 last week, is sidelined for the All-Ireland club champions with a rib injury which forced him to miss the county final replay win over Mountbellew-Moylough.
