Ollie Canning has backed Galway to rebound from their All-Ireland SHC final heartbreak.
The Tribesmen's bid for back-to-back Liam MacCarthy Cups fell narrowly short against Limerick this year, but Canning is convinced they have what it takes to bounce back in 2019.
"The average age of the team is very good," the former Galway star pointed out in an interview with Sky Sports.
"They're not an old team by any degree. They have a lot of experience built up over the last couple of years - last year, winning the final and I'm sure they'll learn a lot of lessons from losing the final this year.
"So there's a lot of experience in that Galway team, a lot of fine, fine hurlers so I can see them being real challengers again next year for the All-Ireland."
