A superstar in the making. Bernard Flynn said he is the best player he saw at minor in last 30 years. will Clifford be a better player than Colm Cooper?
A great forward who always has a eye for the goal

Looks a great prospect, hopefully both he and Con O'Callaghan can be at the centre of many a battle in Croke Park in the future.

It's an intersting one, with Kerrys minor successs it's always intersting to see how many actually step up.

Top minor in the game at the moment.
But his toughest opponent is ahead of him yet....when he goes to college and off the lease from home.

The same conversation was made about Killian Spillane and that he should have gone straight from minor to senior but he hasn't exactly being shooting the lights out the last 2 years and no real word about him making a breakthrough at the moment

Also same was said about Barry John Walsh, Declan Quill but they fell by the wayside.

Plenty reckon down here that our latest export bound for Australia, Mark O'Connor, was the best minor that's come out of the Kingdom in years.

Most likely the Listowel Aussie will have Clifford ear's full of the false promise of AFL well before he gets a chance to stake a claim on the Senior team.

Its the social and economic reality now for counties like Kerry in post recession Ireland. We have no jobs or quality of life to offer our young people, especially when all the Government and the GAA seem to care about is making sure Dublin and the East Coast is looked after.

Outstanding talent but surely with his build he's a model for Tagh and the Aussie Rules ???

Woops Clifford is in college in Tralee IT at the moment and I think his biggest challenge will be keeping TK from the door.
Also killian Spillane scored 1-2 for UCC on Wednesday in the sigurson cup, and I think his brother Adrian scored 2-4 as well. But killian might need another year or two.

Exceptional talented and I can't recall a better in my time but for a lad who was 16 during last summer championship he appeared to be very physically developed.

Good to hear but Kilian is well off making the breakthrough at the moment.
Not writing him off but there was a bit way too much hype about him after minor.

Clifford is finished school? Tought he had another year. Hopefully he can stay away from Horans!

Thats a good point on his physical development, i wonder will he be as effective when his peers grow into themselves and match the physicality and strength, that wonder goal was very skillful but equally there was a lot of power and strength used in the build up.

Jaysus does any darken the door of Horans anymore? It must be 5 years since I was last in there, assumed it was closed by now.

What age is Adrian Spillane? I remember him playing with UCC years ago at midfield. Thought he would of broke through sooner. A very good player.

Adrian is about 22/23 now so he'd want to start throwing a shape.
Woops
Dave could have stayed for another year in the sem and they were mad to keep him but he drove on.

I haven't seen him to be honest realdub, what's he like? Is he a starter on ye'r U21s?

No point in hyping up young lads
Let them enjoy playing

Some players develop early and are outstanding by their 18th birthday but fall away early
Other players develop later and hit their physical peak in mid twenties
I've seen enough outstanding young players end up on barstools instead of on the field playing

Did excellently when he came on, on Saturday thought he was a clever player, some incisive and purposeful passing similar to his cousin who played in the later game.

Surprised he was on the bench as he looked one of Dublin best players when he came on.

He came on as a sub, looked lively and smart, don't know much else about him, time will tell eh!

Looks decent, he'd be no Con O'Callaghan but would make a good replacement for him.
