Hope david goldrick cuts this nonsense out once and for all on sunday. im damned sure he knows all about mc mahon's tactics this last few years.

Im going for Donegal. It'll be tight either way but expect Donegal freshness to make difference in the end. Looking forward to a good game and discussing the inevitable game changing decision by the officials after :-)

Will Justin McMahon get picked for this match? I think Micky Harte will trust one of his younger defenders to track Murphy. It will be interesting to see what happens but I think Murphy might be happy enough with Justin McMahon marking him.

It will be interesting to see if either side really goes for this match or will it be a cat-and-mouse affair. It's difficult to pick a winner.

There's no doubt Neil and Eamon sailed close to the wind on many an occasion. But they at least tried to play a bit of football. I was at the game in 2015 in Ballybofey and watched McMahon's antics. It has no place on any football pitch.

Such a bit of crying from you and some of your fellow county men..... Justin didn't even pick up Murphy in last years Ulster Final.

He's in better physical shape this year and in some of the best form of his life, So if the ref does his job on Sunday we'll see who is crying then.

It's a tricky decision for Mickey Harte. Murphy plays at midfield full time now and this hasn't always been the case in previous meetings. Murphy is also in the shape of his life and covers so much ground and with Justin McMahon only coming back from injury I'm not sure Harte will assign him to Murphy as he may not have the legs to chase around after him. I actually hope McMahon does pick him up but we'll see on sunday. Cathal McCarron done well on Murphy last year but can you see Tyrone playing McCarron at midfield? Could Colm Cavanagh get the job?

From a Tyrone point of view I would be quite happy to see Murphy play midfield. If that is the case I do not see McMahon picking him up. Cavanagh will take up the sweeping role and worry about the ball Murphy will be sending in. It may fall to a McCarron who is happy to rove out the field.

I never commented on what sort of shape or form Murphy is in, I only remarked on the amount of whinging still going on from some Donegal supporters and how it isn't even based on how the teams have matched up in the last couple of occasions they met. I do agree though, lets hope the ref does do his job on Sunday and lets hope you aren't crying on here on Monday if he does so.

I can see Mickey spring a surprise here and actually put McClure or McNulty on Murphy. Both big lads who can shift around the field. Agree happier to see murphy out there

Aye we'll see. I see strong refs are needed within Tyrone as well. A Div 1 league game abandoned due to a melee recently.

Really looking forward to this match between two of the best teams in the country. I think Donegal might just do it as I believe the couple of marquee forwards they have will give them the edge. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Mickey has some attacking ploys he's be keeping up his sleeve for this match.

It'll probably be decided on tight margins so Tyrone will need to have rectified the free taking issues they had against Derry.

Good job your long term memory is better than your short term or you'd of forgotten to be outraged by how McMahon marked Murphy back in 15.

In years gone by I used to be annoyed when Murphy was deployed at midfield instead of full forward but he's never been this influencial from midfield before, so much so you could argue that he's equally good at both midfield and full forward now and with the way this game on sunday is likely to pan out I don't think he'd get on too much ball playing full forward while he should have a huge impact from midfield. I'm probably biased but I thought he was the most consistent midfielder in the league this year and I hope he can continue his brilliant form into Sunday.

I'm delighted to see Murphy out the field where he has a huge influence.

If we need a big man at full forward Hugh McFadden has done well there in the league & will give most full backs plenty to think about.

Looking forward to Sunday, forecast is good, maybe too good with heat being a problem but I suppose that beats wind & rain any day of the week.

We will win and win well. . but Monaghan will be our real challenge. I definitely do not see the winner of this as the winner of Ulster.

Jez lads, we're all looking forward to the game... no need for the name calling (from both sides).

Murphy was probably the best midfielder in the league and seems to be in great shape so I'd be very hopeful he'll do the business on Sunday no matter who is on him. He's proper midfield this year, no more of this in-and-out messing about, I think that's allowing him to make the position his own.

Going to be tight, think we might swing it by a couple of points... scores coming mostly from frees.

Your own Phillip Jordan commented only in the last day or two about the GAA appeals process and how Tyrone have benifited from it in the past.
Mulligan tweeted him saying that if it wasn't for the appeals process he might never have played with McMenamin. Hypocritical no?
