unproven at this level though. Higher risk than Gilroy if he were available

All the names are flying around alright, Dessie is the favorite. Wouldn't be his biggest fan as a manager hes a bit open and naive defensively more me and a bit rigid in sticking to that philosophy, his teams are easy o the eye though, but tend to have a soft center. Mourinho or Pep, they always go to the teams with the most money. HEREBENJI (Donegal) - Posts: 421 - 03/12/2019 07:27:31 2252851 Link 4 |

Promote from within. Jason Sherlock, he knows the system,he knows the players. that would be my uneducated opinion. cluichethar (Mayo) - Posts: 454 - 04/12/2019 15:52:56 2253211 Link 0 |

Surprised that Clarkey got it tbh... Must had received a major reference from Jim. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 3725 - 04/12/2019 16:25:23 2253214 Link 0 |
Is that confirmed? Also a bit surprised at that. Don't think Clarkey has ever managed any side. He was part of Pillar's management team and only hooked up with Jim last year I thought. Has he ever headed a senior club team or underage IC? I didn't think so but could be wrong. I wonder was Dessie offered it and turned it down or else maybe Gavin did a Ferguson->Moyes on it and gave him an outstanding reference.

Seems the bookies have suspended betting, with Conroy the strong favourite now. Very surprised at that, I have to say. He did win a club All-Ireland with Vincent's a few years ago, but I didn't think he was a legitimate contender. WanPintWin (Galway) - Posts: 2037 - 07/12/2019 12:18:11 2253674 Link 0 |
Its Dessie. Didnt think he would take it. Delighted he has however. Jackeen (Dublin) - Posts: 4097 - 12/12/2019 19:34:23 2254501 Link 8 |
