Galway Vs Kerry

Delighted for Galway, great win even if it was a poor game, it's 2 points on the table so they don't care. Clones now becomes a very sticky wicket for an overrated Kerry team.

Half back line murdered by Galway.
No point having new riches in attack if you fail to address the most obvious weakness in the team

Not that surprising really. Had them backed to beat Kerr , for me it's a dubs Galway final.

Poor contest , better team won , very disappointed in Kerry was expecting so much more from them bar young Clifford they were shocking , how much have we learned well not a lot really, Kerry not as good as the hype but I doubt they will lay that poor again , youth is great but now and then a couple of old heads are best at steering s ship , Kerry were leaderless to day , Galway I feel are better than what we saw also , wonder if the safety blanket of well there's two more matches had impacted on the desire to go out and win and give your all

Well beaten by Galway - very well done Galway..

Safe journey home for the hundred or so loyal Kerry fans in Croker today....

So hype hype, and today so much tripe..!

Next week in Clones v Monaghan wont be for the faint hearted. ;o)

Well done to Galway

Another wet day for EF/Kerry in Croke Park

... And another 3pt loss

We even had Fitzmaurice losing it on the sideline with his selectors while getting rained on..

Ahh the memories!!

Bad aul weekend for Kerry football

But the beauty is they can put it right next weekend.. well maybe..

There's the Croke Park hoodoo broken. Not an enjoyable spectacle for the neutrals, but we won and fairly well too.

Wishing Paul Conroy a speedy recovery, I hear it's a broken leg, poor lad.

Gaillimh go deo!

Have Kerry been overhyped or was this just a bad day at the office? Has their reputation been founded purely on the back of facile wins over hurling counties in a hurling province? Clones should be some game.

Not sure what to say about this match, was like a poor training match. Kerry were very disappointing apart from Clifford. All teams can have a bad day at the office but they had no intensity and just lacked effort. You just never know how young lads are going to react in their first big game in Croke Park. The reality is that its going to take these young Kerry players a couple of years to get up to the required level.

Galway are such a hard team to play against and gave some classy forwards, not sure they can win an All-Ireland this year but are going in the right direction.

Having watched all the Super 8 matches this weekend I am left wondering who is going to step up to the plate and challenge Dublin.

Olé Olé Olé Olé Galway Galway. Who put the ball in the Kerry net? Patrick Sweeney. Seriously lads great match well done to both teams. Sorry Kerry fans- but first time in 53 years we have beaten you lot in the Championship!

Shocking stuff from Kerry beaten all over pitch. Would have been some humiliation except for Clifford. Couldn't believe Star wasn't put on or o Sullivan. Last goal might be important for score aggregate and Kerry can still qualify.

100 or so is correct. Not easy to have to travel after a 4pm throw in to get home at 1 or 2 in the morning.

Looked bad from tv. Yeah they said it was a broken leg. But it was accidental.

How can you avoid that unless you draw the 2nd round after the first finishes in order to avoid dead rubber games? If you do that it's a short time frame for supporters to arrange travel and/or accomodation for games.

Well done Galway, a great win today. Push on now for top spot in the group. Kildare and Monaghan could well be tougher tasks than today but ye have the quality to beat both of them.
