Kerry to win senior & u21 titles this year?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Lads. if ye are betting men get your money on Kerry to senior & u21. Having won last 3 minors they will surely win u21 and the like of Jassy Foley, Andrew Barry, Tom Leo Sullivan, Killan Spillane and Mick Burns will add to the senior setup. Throw in a fit James o'Donoghue, Bryan Sheehan(who will play between the stick this year and Anthony Maher. Jack Savage and Connor Kane flying in training. They wont peak in league. They will be priming themselves for Mayo at end of August and the the third sunday in September. Thank me later in year.

Shane Ryan Rathmore is another player for future. Can play in nets and isn't bad at full forward either

Kerry must be outrageous favorites for the u21s. I think that the seniors have a good shout too, but I wouldn't be doing a double on them. The u21s would be a much safer bet imo.

So a bunch of kids are going to beat a team who havent lost in about 30 games in front of 65,000 hostile fans on the road?

You are away with the fairies

It happened before. I'm sure if Kerry fielded new lads there would be a good balance of experience in there too. But I agree it's more likely to happen in 2018 with a new Kerry manager. Having said that, fitzmaurice will want to beat the dubs once bedore he goes

They'll win the u21 easy
Senior they'll be close but perhaps take 2 years and then it'll be there turn to go on a run

Where can you get prices for the U-21 football championship? Any idea what price Kerry are?

No odds available yet. Normally appear about a week before the first round games at the start of April

It's a tough one to call we might win the U21s but can't see us beating Mayo in the senior.

Thanks I have been keeping an eye out for them. I think anything of 2/1 or above would be value for the kingdom.

They'll be good strong favourites for the U21's but the seniors is fairly open IMO. They're one of 3-4 teams that could potentially win it if things fall their way. I'd say you'd get good odds on that double.

I think that there are 3 minor winning teams now u21 in Kerry. It will take an exceptional team to beat them. Are they out there? Possibly. Mayo are all ireland winners but how many of them are eligible to play again this year? The Dubs could be ready for a good rattle at the u21s again, but I am not sure how good they are. Cork always do well in this competition. I am not sure how we are going to shape up but Id imagine we will be strong enough. Galway always do well at this level too for some unknown reason it falls apart thereafter.

But if I were forced to back anyone and had no choice in the mater, I would have my money on Kerry in a flash.

Galway's strongest team in years, should win Connacht & be there or thereabouts in All Ireland series.
