There's a difference between a game worth watching and a game worth remembering. Any game of ball is worth watching at the time. Kerry v Cork in the Munster Championship is worth watching at the time, but hardly unmissable, you'll get to see it again next year, and the year after, and the year after that...... often if Cork are any use you'll get to see it later that year. Or if Cork were to beat Kerry in Munster but lose to them later on, which defo happened during the 00s but we'd have to look it up to remember when though, they wouldn't care about the meaningless provincial game earlier in the year. The same goes for all the old big provincial games, but doubly so for Kerry/Cork coz they essentially play every year, unless Cork are terrible at the time. Tyrone and Donegal had serious battles a few years back I remember them I remember watching Roscommon beating mayo in last years Connacht championship and it was a great game for the neutral and there was pages and pages written about it on here afterwards. Leinster has been poor for the last 15 years. Munster has been fairly predictable for the last 100 years. Kerry win more than half and then Cork win the rest.
