Good to see the Kells campaigning for lads on the county team has spread to under 20's now

How can the county board think they're giving the players the best possible chance of silverware this coming season if they haven't even picked a manager? Championship if the guts of 9 weeks away and the potential panel havnt even been given as much as a S&C program? Baffling

Last few years they've been training before Christmas and it did them 0 harm. They'll come into the championship fresh and at 20's level tactics are so minimal. It isn't an ideal situation but for sure isn't a catastrophe

I agree - last year they started too early and despite playing really well in some challenge games - they were jaded by the time they got to championship. But it Championship is starting much earlier this year so would expect them to have at least 6 to 8 weeks full on preparation beforehand.

Should be some nice talent on show in clonard later for bracks and trim clash in second tier of u-21, town verses tiny village but that counts for nothing in a final, some nice young players on both sides.

The new management team appointed - headed up by Ger Robinson from Dunboyne and includes former players Joe Sheridan and Kevin Reilly. I am sure Ger got a good luck at some of his potential squad members during the recent 21's championship
I'd say they will start gathering the lads together in early January before narrowing the squad down!

Looking at the Leinster website. It appears we are in an under 20 league. Playing Kildare at home on the 4th January. Then Laois on the 11th and Dublin on the 18th. Not sure if the last two are home or away. Strange that we are playing the top Leinster contenders just weeks before the Leinster championship. Also strange that it's during the O'Byrne cup. Which team will Jordan Morrs, Jack O'Connor, Matt Costello, Shane Walsh play for I wonder

I think our 20's are playing Dublin this Saturday in some league. Not sure of venue

The 20's are out tomorrow I believe in a League game. (I have been told they are playing Dublin although someone else said Kildare!) Anyone hear the team or know who is involved?

Good comeback win today. Once Daithi McGowan got into it at midfield our attack started getting going, I have heard that Shane Walsh, Jack O'Connor and Matt Costello will be allowed play championship. Add that to Luke Mitchell, Aaron Lynch, Jordan Morris, Cian Rodgers, Daithi (wing forward today). That is lots of forwards talent. Not sure if the Dubs were missing many today

Wouldn't be over impressed with that team today. Dublin changed their team at half time. Would have Adam Muldoon in there at corner back. Quick tenacious and a really tight marker. Also Dylan Morgan from Kilmainham saw him play full forward for them a few times last year. Good ball winner very fast and has 2 good feet. Scored 2-14 in a u21 game. That's some achievement.

Usually I take the mick out of north Meath lads moaning about Kells lads not being picked but how on earth are those two lads not involved, especially Morgan? Maybe the conspiracy theories are true afterall!

Forgot Muldoon was u20 this year, does anyone know is he on the panel for this year? Was more impressed with him than Conal Courteny this year.

They've all been either looked at or tried, if they aren't there, they aren't good enough, so suck it up and stop moaning and being paranoid about north vs south meath and support MEATH. Do you honestly think a manager is going to leave a talented lad out cause he doesnt live south of navan?? I do worry about some of yee lads sometimes
