The Teams that make up each Division are as follows
Division 1
Crosserlough, St Aidan's, Cavan Gaels, Lough Uachtar Gaels, Assan Gaels, Knockbride, Southern Gaels and Ramor United.

Division 2
Laragh United, Killygarry, Erne Gaeks. St Joseph's, Blackwater Gaels, Dernacrieve Gaels, Kingscourt Castlarahan, and Killann Gaels.

Division 3
Denn, Templeport, Denn, Cuchulains, Ballinagh, Naomh Brid, and Ballyhaise.

Is there any teams that re in the wrong division either too High or too low.

Who will make the finals in each case?

so many amalgamations!!! I just have to wonder are all of them absolutely necessary? well done to knockbride though for being n division 1. it's a massive achievement. even for the other clubs too that are going it alone in division 2 and 3, its a great achievement.

Lough Oughter Gaels and Assan Gaels could be in Div 2 and Erne Gaels and Laragh Utd in Div 1. Ballyhaise and Ballinagh could have competed in Div 2 and Killan Gaels in Div 3
You would wonder how this was all overlooked . They mustn't have checked the 2017 minor club results. Suppose there ticking boxes and gettig competition out of the way. Div 1 Ramor Utd Runners up Southern Gaels. Div 2 Erne Gaels Runners up Laragh Utd Div 3 Ballinagh. Runners up Ballyhaise.

You seem to have a great knowledge of the Under 20 football in Cavan and I agree with most of your calls re the finalists and also who should be in a higher or lower division, with the fixtures committee having access to all results and final tables from a couple of years ago it is surprising that the Divisions are not nearer your suggestions.

Here are a couple of questions that you or someone else may know the answers to:

1. Who makes up St Aidan's?

2. Who did Belturbet and Drumlane play with in 2019?

3 Why would you consider Erne Gaels stronger than Laragh Utd, what about Killygarry?

4 Am I right in saying that Ballyhaise did well last year and now they are in Division 3 same applies to Ballinagh

Is this the first year there was 3 Divisions? Some Clubs didn't enter which is strange when there is 3 Divisions.

I am surprised at Drumloman (Mullahoran/Ballymachugh) not entering but if Cornafean have not entered who makes up Lough Uachtar Gaels this year?

Why did Laragh Utd and Castlerahan not play at the weekend would Cavan Co Board have given them the weekend off because they are in Ulster Club next weekend?
If so when will they play next this has the potential to hold up a competition that was due to finish on Nov 30/Dec 1 to near Christmas.

Fixtures not out yet for the weekend, most of these lads have part time work at weekends, typical that players are their last priority

Great to see the county board add another round of fixtures to the U 20 Division 1 championship. We will now get the best teams in the last four. These U 20 matches are normally very entertaining and it gives those lads who didnt get much football all year a chance to express themselves. We probably need to bring back the U 18 championship and drop the u 17 one. The Gaa are losing these lads cos they are not making their club senior team and they just drift away.Hopefully someone on the County board would be thinking the same way cos it cant go on the way it is.

I see games down for middle of next week. Won't players be in college? Makes no sense.

Keep up Breffnisbest. Four Round Robin games instead of Three. With Three games you could be unlucky and get two tough draws
and you're out .

Should be knock out. it is played at a stupid time of year. Should be played in summer for players who don't get much football with senior and too old for minor

Tom84 but the county board wouldn't be able to make €€€€ from knockout games.

In Division 2 there are 9 teams but only 2 matches this weekend, if our clubs are successful in Ulster this weekend this competition could take much longer than anticipated to run off, well I am assuming that is the reason for only 2 matches this weekend.
