Underage Results On Westmeath GAA Website

(Oldest Posts First)

Anyone notice that there are no results being put up on the Westmeath GAA website recently? Haven't seen any results since the knockout stages of the various competitions started. No results from the Under 17 Championship at the weekend or from the various Minor competitions last night. . .

Not sure why but knockout fixtures after the group stages in all grades are not showing up.
While the site has improved, you shouldn't be relying on social media for the fixtures.
For example, some U16 FINALS on tomorrow and not a word on website.

Listening to anyone that attended ,and im told there was the big crowd, the Under 16 Div1 Football final was supposedly a brilliant game of football. Reading the newspaper reports would verify this. Not a word about these games on this site or Westmeathgaa.ie. The fixutures weren't even on it. Look on Meath site ,some difference.
Once the senior fixtures get down to knock out and once all the dates for the underage finals are fixed its like job done/box ticked for this year and the site stops mentioning underage.

Yeah it's frustrating. Thankfully many of the clubs themselves have excellent coverage on social media (Facebook,Twitter). The u16 final is covered extensively on the Lomans facebook page, with report & photos. The Downs, Shamrocks, and a few others are also running their accounts to an extremely high standard.

Why don't they just have an upcoming fixtures panel on the website. Not that hard to do

They send out fixtures via email every Sunday night with fixture, venue, time, referee etc. surely they could just copy and paste this on the website?
