Kerry will have one eye on the semi , so its a opportunity for Meath to have a real go . BeJasus (UK) - Posts: 383 - 03/08/2019 15:19:45 2220083 Link 0 |
Why should it concern Donegal when Mayo will have knocked them out?

Should be a good atmosphere, I was very happy with myself getting here a full hour before game and find that stand is full. bdbuddah (Meath) - Posts: 1337 - 03/08/2019 17:37:17 2220133 Link 1 |

Good meath performance today. The ref was a disgrace to meath for the first 20 mins. We wouldn't have won anyway so I'm not too mad. 2019 a success, can't wait for the league and the fixtures to see who's home and away. Jack_Goff (Meath) - Posts: 2920 - 03/08/2019 20:32:02 2220242 Link 6 |
Haha. You enforcing the stereotype that Kildare people really don't know much about football

Enjoyable game. Kerry not at their best and again Meath were running on empty in the last 15mins. Keep shooting ourselves in the foot at times. Both Kerry goals came from bad mistakes. The second one was really poor defending, no need to dive in front for the ball at all. HighKings (Meath) - Posts: 271 - 03/08/2019 21:33:41 2220289 Link 2 |
Hopefully we will have learnt /taken something from all of our Super 8 opponents this summer , BeJasus (UK) - Posts: 383 - 03/08/2019 21:46:25 2220292 Link 0 |
Dress it up whatever way you want but you were well beaten by a team in 2nd gear without their star man playing . Meath fans will see it as a successful year but it's a falsehood in my opinion. Went full throttle at the league when other teams weren't at full tilt and then had a handy Leinster draw to final and the easiest of qualifier games to get into super 8s where you were comprehensively beaten in all games. It'll be back to square one again for you next year

Well done Kerry. Overall I think we have put the debate to bed about our worthiness in super 8s we were there on merit. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 04/08/2019 09:17:17 2220432 Link 0 |
Meaths FB line is the best in the country in my opinion. What Meath miss is a partner for Menton and a few quality forwards and impact off the bench. Not being smart here but im not sure how you can claim that Meath didn't look out of place in the super 8s, they lost esch game by 8 points. Staying with teams for 50 mins is not what your judged on. westkerry (Kerry) - Posts: 1250 - 04/08/2019 10:11:17 2220442 Link 6 |
