I will say a maximum of once in the whole game."

Very disappointing.

Was going to go but I started watching Shane Lowry on the box and couldn't take my eyes off him! It seems I made the right choice.

Awful match was hard to watch a hammering like that ,so 1 sided the gulf in class was huge ,was nice of Dublin to take foot off the gas in 2nd half or it would of ended up a 25/30pt win

Replying To Crinigan:  "Reading Roscommon and Galway fans all year on this forum throwing mud at counties like Kildare and Meath for "not getting their act together" and how they'd welcome Dublin into Connaught championship.

Again ye'd get hammered every single year and would lose players and fan interest just as quickly as likes of Meath and Kildare have.

Ye are full of it basically."
In fairness last season we drew with Dublin in the league, lost the final by a few points and were well in the all Ireland semi final until we missed a penalty. Yes lost by 8 in the end but you should have your facts correct. Also this year while tactically we were poor injuries really hurt us. Also our underage compared to ye and to a lesser extent Kildare has been far better. Not the be all but a contributor to any guide. I think the throwing stones was a minority of posters.

The gap really inst as big as the scoreline suggests.
Its all about the mindset that teams have , before going up against the Dubs .

Media has them down as unbeatable and that influencing creates a mental block

100%

Going in with a 'sure we'll get beaten anyway' atitude gives Dublin an edge even before the ball is thrown in. I don't think most players and coaches think like that, just some supporters and some pundits wanting to sell newspapers or make a name for themselves.

Let's assume Donegal, Mayo, or Kerry beat Dublin. It's only marginally better than the current situation. Why bother watching or playing in the Championship when you know the winner will be from a small group of counties in most years.

Lightyears ahead in standard compared to the defensive rugby muck that preceded it though in fairness.
