Lol. Guess I'm just a dumb yank who couldn't possibly be a real fan nor know anything of the game. Apparently it also automatically elevates you & your opinions on sport above mine & excuses your behavior. I do my best when posting here to be polite & level headed. I may fail from time to time, be wrong other times but never go out to blatantly instigate or troll other posters.

Dont mind him Yank. He has retained a bitter rant against Limerick since Galway lost to them in the final almost twelve months ago and routinely trolls contributors from other counties. Many of us now believe he is not even a Galway follower at all, as nobody, but nobody, would want to show that even one person from their own county was such a poor loser. We have reason to believe he is a Clare man, who has not 'come out' as a Banner man

Thanks Oldtourman ;-)
Enjoy the weekend as best you can. I don't think many hurling fans doubt you'll be back.

No, they will never get over the Semi Final loss Nth.Yankee! I'll enjoy the Final and hopefully our Minors can win the 3 in a row! At least we have a Galway team in Croke Park again this year.

I am sure he does but frankly this thread is ridiculous, like a few others.

Ah lads in fairness ...
I just looked in here to see if any update on Limerick management team changes and I see the troll is still active and other posters still making the mistake of replying to the nonsense.
Good luck to Tipp and Kilkenny I'm hoping for a game to equal the classic of 2009.
Slán until 2020.

I said 'hurling fans', of which you are nothing of the sort.
Hate to feed the troll but had to clear up who I was referring to. Until Hstand has a block or mute button I'll not bother looking at another of your pathetic posts. Slàn

THANK GOD! A thread to discuss the Limerick Kilkenny game! I was afraid it had been forgotten, but here it is at the top of the page where it belongs the Friday before the Ai!
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication, making sure this thread stay No. 1 for four weeks in a row! Some achievement! I think a few people deserve special mention:
Katser: Don't know who you are, or where your from, but your personal energy and drive, your pure dedication, the love you have for your fellow Gaels; all these things combine to make you what you are whatever that is. Never change (that's a lie).
Ouldtourman: Living proof that you can grow old, but never grow up. That Peter Pan like determination to mix it with the youth and show you still have it is an inspiration to all of us. I only hope I have a fraction of your energy when I'm in my nineties.
Gowran_Yank: Just when the thread was beginning to die off, you came in like a breath of fresh air, and managed almost single-handedly to keep it going for another three pages. You're some man! And not just that, but with a display of wit the likes of which we haven't seen since the late Flann O'Brien (Ní beidh a leithéid arís ann!), you've won us all over; sure who'll ever forget crackers like "Hey Katser, go away". Yes indeed, the wit of O'Brien and the punctuation of Joyce. Genius boy. Pure genius.

Keep her lit lads! You too Kathy the girl from the lovely Clare!
